Tata has now opened the booking windows for its flagship electric SUV, Harrier.ev.
Tata recently launched the Harrier.ev in India at a starting price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, Tata has opened the booking window for the Harrier.ev. It is claimed to be the first car to get an all-wheel-drive setup in the brand’s portfolio. The Tata Harrier.ev has five major variants in the catalog, including Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and Empowered AWD. Also, the brand claims to extend a special loyalty bonus worth Rs 1 lakh to the existing Tata EV owners.
The Harrier.ev offers two options for battery packs: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. Both configurations come with a single motor and a rear-wheel-drive layout, while the 75 kWh battery also includes an option for dual motors and all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel-drive versions of the Harrier EV produce 238 hp and 315 Nm, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with the 75 kWh battery delivers a total of 313 hp and 504 Nm. In terms of claimed range, the 65 kWh variants of the Harrier EV can cover up to 538 km on one charge, whereas the 75 kWh RWD and AWD models achieve distances of 627 km and 622 km, respectively.
The interior of the electric vehicle has a fresh appeal with upgraded elements on the dashboard and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The brand claims it has the world’s first 14.53-inch Harman-sourced infotainment system powered by Samsung NEO QLED. To complement this, the vehicle gets the world’s first JBL Black 10-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos, power and ventilated front seats, driver seat with memory function, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, window sunblinds, ambient lighting, and more.
